Tasting Pangasinan

In my last post, I talked about how wonderful it is to learn about stories of people you meet when travelling. Isn’t it heart-warming to feel how comfortable they are in sharing with you, a person whom they’ve just met, some of the most significant fragments of their lives?

This time, though, I won’t be talking about another story I was enlightened on during another travel. But this post is something about one of the most exciting activities you can do when travelling—food trip.

Cela's Tapa and Meat Products' version of the ever famous pigar-pigar. You can find that in Mangaldan, Pangasinan.

Collaboration starts with GBG Pangasinan inaugural meet up

Map and hop with us!

Connect. Inform. Inspire.

These are the three guiding principles on which Google Business Groups (GBG) all over the world are founded. This is a living proof that even in the age of digital technology where everything seems to be impersonal and fast paced, many aim to use the web to connect with others to achieve a unified success.

Going Google, going global

Today marks another milestone for Pangasinan and opens another door for opportunity--a wide one at that.

People from the world over will surely know more about Pangasinan as products made in the province will soon be much easier to find using the leading and widely used search engine in the world, Google.

The event titled "Pangasinan OTOP (One Town, One Product) Goes Google" is happening as of this writing. This advocacy by the provincial government in partnership with Google, Google Business Group Dagupan and the Department of Trade and Industry aims to promote unique products proudly made in Pangasinan and to help entrepreneurs improve their businesses using technology which will provide them with a cheaper way to enter the global market.
