Going Google, going global

Today marks another milestone for Pangasinan and opens another door for opportunity--a wide one at that.

People from the world over will surely know more about Pangasinan as products made in the province will soon be much easier to find using the leading and widely used search engine in the world, Google.

The event titled "Pangasinan OTOP (One Town, One Product) Goes Google" is happening as of this writing. This advocacy by the provincial government in partnership with Google, Google Business Group Dagupan and the Department of Trade and Industry aims to promote unique products proudly made in Pangasinan and to help entrepreneurs improve their businesses using technology which will provide them with a cheaper way to enter the global market.

Tourism Officers as well as other officials from Local Government Units (LGU) all over Pangasinan attend the one-day event to know more about promoting local products in the global scene.

The photo above shows some of the products on exhibit at the Pangasinan Development Training Center, the venue for the Pangasinan OTOP Goes Google event.
